Position Overview
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, AV equipment, hardware or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem and determines and implement solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support IT system security in the organization to ensure safety of data and IT systems
  • Deploy and service the IP phone system
  • Support and manage LAN and WiFi infrastructure, TCP/IP, VNC, DHCP, DNS, VLAN.
  • Have VoIP experience
  • Manage Windows or Linux Servers, performing server migrations and cloud migrations, (i.e. Office 365), and email server migration
  • Experience with Windows OS, MAC OS, AWS, Azure
  • Experience designing, testing and configuring Ubiquiti Unifi and Cisco Meraki WIFI systems
  • Support AV equipment in meeting rooms and collaboration areas
  • Maintain and support proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and back ups
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization
  • Keeping the employees informed on the various technological changes that are taking place in the organization
  • Ensuring that the standard local licensing requirements are met and fulfilled
  • Designs, implements, monitors, enhances and troubleshoots systems in assigned areas
  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary
  • Job may require regular travel locally for on-site work for various clients in Southern California

  • Education: Some support experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months computer support
  • Knowledge/Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills
    Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Apple Mac
  • Basic troubleshooting and understanding of computer operations
  • Basic understanding of computer networking, TCP/IP, WiFi and VLAN
